Real post in the works, but in the meantime, I thought I should say somewhere that a whole lot of the blogs I read (and if I know you read mine, I probably read yours) don’t seem to allow comments from an iPad. This is true of a lot of blogger blogs and some wordpress ones, that I’ve noticed.
It seems to me that this is a problem whose severity has suddenly increased (maybe to do with the ios update on the ipad, somehow?), but it’s just as possible that I hadn’t noticed before because the Bean used to be more willing to let me use my laptop than he is now. I have almost no chance to look at blogs except on the iPad now, and I’m sorry that I am not commenting as much as I would wish
Anyway, if you’re noticing fewer comments, you might consider poking around to find out if there’s a known issue with your blog’s theme. I think this blog is okay, but I don’t actually know, so if you have had a problem, I’d truly appreciate an email to that effect. It’s bionicmamas at the google one.
Carry on!

I think I’m the only person on the planet who does not have an ipad. Could you check my blog to see if there is a problem? 🙂

Yours has one of the common blogger problems. I type a comment, then say I want to use my WordPress identity to post it. A dialogue box opens to let me enter my name, but I can’t actually type in it, nor will it let me close it and try a different identity. Game over 😦

Crap. Thanks for checking!

Is mine an issue? I also don’t have an iPad so am pretty hopeless with this sort of technology…

Boo iPad and iPhone. The only blog I can’t comment on from my Android phone is the one that uses Disqus. Oh, and maybe the one on TypePad. Just sayin.

Hmm. I tried to look into what causes this, but it started talking about CSS properties and I dozed right off. Clearly my internets are broken and my tubes are clogged, or something.
