Everything is fine! Dr. Fancy thought the issue might have been seeing the gallbladder, which looks fine on the fancy machine.
And the Bean looked far less dragon-y this time.
Related: if I’ve always been kind of grossed out by 3D u/s pictures but thought mine were cute, is pregnancy destroying my brain?
Okay! Back to work!

Great news…and definitely yes š

I find those 3-d ultrasound pregnancy pictures rather frightening as well! I'm sure pregnancy hasn't destroyed your brain, just made you more able to see all of the great things that make your child so wonderful. š I'm glad bean is fine and that you were able to take it in stride and not get too worried about the whole thing.

Yay for good news and, yes, pregnancy absolutely destroys the brain.

I totally wanted a 3D until I saw them, and they freak me out, LOL. It's not just you. Glad all is well with the bebe š

Yay, Good to hear. And yes. But don't worry, those are the bits you didn't need anyway.

Hooray–so glad all is well. And good for you for not finding out the sex–glad that was the right decision for you. Different u/s machines make all the difference. The crappy one in our ob's office (think of it like a 1972 studebaker) gives barely recognizable photos. Yet the mercedes-style one at the sleek MFM office for the nuchal and level II–utterly mind-blowing!

So glad everything is ok. I think 3D ultrasound pics are totally great and completely freaky at the same time!
